Keynote Speech

In the keynote speech titled "Intelligent Control and Thermal Management Optimization for High-Efficiency Hybrid Powertrain Systems", GETEC's Chief Technology Officer Sven Steinwascher emphasized the critical role of advanced thermal management technologies in enhancing the performance, safety, and durability of modern electrified vehicles. Through real-world case studies, he demonstrated how AI-driven control strategies and virtual thermal management tools can dynamically optimize cooling prioritization, improving overall system efficiency while extending the service life of critical components.

"As battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) grow increasingly complex—particularly in architectures featuring dedicated hybrid transmissions (DHT)—efficient thermal management of core components (batteries, motors, electronics, and engines) has become a critical challenge. Looking ahead, next-generation thermal management systems will leverage AI-based predictive control, integrated design methodologies, and smart thermal materials to drive more efficient, intelligent, and robust thermal management solutions for electrified and hybrid vehicles."

- Sven Steinwascher
